MOSCOW. Oct 18 (Interfax) - Vladimir Putin promises to bolster Russia's political system and democratic institutions.
"Speaking about what we are planning to do and what I am planning to do in the future - here's what we should focus on: we need to cement the foundations of our political system and democratic institutions," Putin said in an interview with three leading Russian TV channels.
"We need to create conditions for sustainable development and for diversifying the economy on a new, modern basis, to create conditions for higher living standards," Putin said.
