Medvedev dismisses three drug control service generals

MOSCOW. Oct 24 (Interfax) - President Dmitry Medvedev has dismissed three generals of the Federal Drug Control Service, the Kremlin said on its website on Monday.

The generals dismissed are Alexander Beklevishev, the deputy head of the office of the State Anti-Drug Committee and chief of the department for the Far East Federal District; Vladimir Mikhalevich, the deputy head of the Federal Drug Control Service's Moscow department and chief of the investigative service; and Valery Platov, the head of the Amur regional department.
