BAKU. Oct 24 (Interfax) - Azerbaijan does not intend to change its position on Nagorno-Karabakh, said President Ilham Aliyev.
"Azerbaijan has a solid position, based on the historical truth and international law. We will not depart a step from it. Azerbaijan's territorial integrity was not and will not be a subject of talks," Aliyev told an expanded Cabinet meeting on the country's socioeconomic development in the first nine months of 2011 on Monday.
Aliyev expressed regret that no serious progress has been made in the settlement of this conflict, saying that Azerbaijan has been using "all opportunities to restore its territorial integrity."
The Azeri president received in Baku on Monday the co-chairs of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe's (OSCE) Minsk Group and the OSCE chairman-in-office's personal envoy.
The talks dealt with prospects of settling the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
