MOSCOW. Oct 25 (Interfax) - The Moscow-confirmed list of American citizens whose arrival in Russia is deemed objectionable is not symmetrical to the American list and it is longer, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
"Our list looks somewhat longer," he told Interfax.
Lavrov confirmed that Russia reserves for itself the right to unilaterally adjust the black list, making it longer or shorter. "We will act precisely this way," Lavrov said.
Asked whether American congressmen, known for their criticism of Russia, have been blacklisted, Lavrov said details which the Russian side has found possible to announce have been made pubic already.
"The names will not be disclosed," he said.
Reports said earlier that the American "Magnitsky list" has 11 Russian citizens on it. In response, Russia has drawn up its own blacklist of American citizens it deems responsible for unlawful treatment of Russian citizens.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexander Lukashevich said the list includes high-placed Washington officials "involved in resonance crimes in the humanitarian sphere."
