MOSCOW. Nov 24 (Interfax) - Moscow does not rule out the enlargement of the Collective Operative Reaction Force (CORF) of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).
"In fact, we do not rule out the enlargement of the personnel and combat potential of the Collective Operative Reaction Force but a decision will depend on the developments in the CSTO responsibility zone," Russian Permanent Representative to the CSTO Igor Lyakin-Frolov told Interfax.
For instance, it is planned to reinforce the CORF with anti-drug units. "Drugs coming from Afghanistan are a real threat to the security of member countries, which requires an appropriate reaction of the CSTO," he said.
