"Rossiya" government fleet gets second Tu-204-300 passenger jet (Part 2)

ULYANOVSK. Jan 20 (Interfax) - A second Tupolev Tu-204-300 regional passenger jet was handed over to the Presidential Property Management Department in a ceremony in Ulyanovsk on Friday, an Interfax correspondent reported from the Aviastar-SP aircraft construction company.

"The delivery and acceptance certificate for the Tu-204-300 was signed in a ceremonial setting," a spokesman for the United Aircraft Corporation told Interfax-AVN.

The first Tu-204-300 was handed over to Rossiya on January 9.

The 65-seat VIP-class plane has a shower cabin and comfortable seats. With a range of 8,500 kilometers, the plane is capable of nine hours of flight without refueling.

The signing ceremony was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin, officials with the United Aircraft Corporation; Tupolev and Aviastar-SP representatives, members of the Rossiya fleet and the governor of the Ulyanovsk region.
