MOSCOW. Jan 26 (Interfax) - The missile defense system NATO is creating is not targeted against any particular country, including Iran, Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said in an interview with Interfax.
Not a single NATO document says that missile defense will aim at a particular country, he said, adding that NATO does not oppose any state, neither Iran nor Russia.
Davutoglu also said that Turkey did not see a nuclear threat to itself coming from Iran.
He said that Turkey did not see any threat coming from its neighbors at all.
Turkey, a NATO member country, put into service a radar station on January 17 as an element of the NATO European missile defense.
