Moscow may host ministerial conference of Middle East mediating quartet

MOSCOW. Jan 26 (Interfax) - The Middle East mediating quartet is considering a ministerial conference in Moscow, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexander Lukashevich told a Thursday press briefing in Moscow.

"The Middle East mediating quartet continues its active work. There have been three teleconferences of the quartet members in the past 10 days to discuss all aspects of the current situation on this track of the Middle East peace process, including our proposal to hold a quartet ministerial conference in Moscow," he said.
