MOSCOW. March 2 (Interfax) - The Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (CCASG) has expressed its willingness to hold a meeting with Russia regarding Syria, its date has yet to be confirmed, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexander Lukashevich said.
"We have received a principled willingness of the CCASG member states to organize such a meeting. We hope to manage to agree upon a mutually acceptable date of this meeting," Lukashevich told reporters on Thursday.
Russia has suggested that the meeting take place in Riyadh, he said.
