Syrian opposition figure: UN observers will be able to report objective info to world

MOSCOW. April 28 (Interfax) - UN observers in Syria will be able to report an objective picture of the developments in that country to the world community, Qadri Jamil, the head of a delegation of the Syrian opposition Popular Front for Change and Liberation, believes.

"Observers are necessary because we need objective information," he said at a press conference in Moscow.

"You see that the mass media are twisting information - either playing it down or exaggerating," he went on to say.

To confirm the objectiveness of information reported by international observers Jamil named the efforts of Arab League monitors.

"As you have seen Arab observers played a good role, that is why they were recalled because those who sponsor the mass media failed to use Arab observers in this sense," he said.
