MOSCOW. April 28 (Interfax) - Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov and Iranian Ambassador to Russia Mahmoud Reza Sajjadi met in Moscow on Saturday, the Russian Foreign Ministry has reported.
"The meeting participants exchanged their opinions on the situation in the Middle East, emphasizing the situation in Syria. They reiterated that the crisis in Syria should be resolved in a peaceful manner on the basis of inclusive national dialogue and without any outside interference in the internal affairs of Syria," the ministry said in a report posted on its website.
"The meeting participants pointed out the exclusive importance of international support for the efforts made by UN and Arab League special envoy Kofi Annan and the activities of the UN observer mission in Syria," the ministry said.
