ASTANA. April 28 (Interfax) - Senior officials from the Kazakhstan National Space Agency (Kazkosmos) have met with a delegation from Thailand's Geo-Informatics and Space Technology Development Agency (GISTDA), Kazkosmos said on Saturday.
GISTDA is part of the Thai Ministry of Science and Technology and is responsible for the implementation of the Thai space program, space technology development and the use of geoinformatics, research and development of space technologies, and is also in charge of national standards and infrastructure of the geographic information systems in Thailand.
During the Thai delegation's visit the Kazkosmos and GISTDA signed a memorandum of understanding on space cooperation. The parties also discussed the potential for bilateral space cooperation.
