Kaliningrad radar station to enhance missile detection capacity - General Staff

MOSCOW. May 3 (Interfax) - A new radar station in the Kaliningrad region will enhance Russia's capacity for detecting ballistic missile launches, General Staff Chief Nikolai Makarov said at an international conference, Missile Defense Factor in Establishing New Security Environment, in Moscow on Thursday.

"The Voronezh-DM radar station in the Kaliningrad region will enhance the capacity for detecting ballistic missile launches from the west and northwest," he said.
