MOSCOW. May 5 (Interfax) - Police, rescuers and relatives are searching for a four year-old girl who went missing in the Achkhoi-Martan district of Chechnya on Friday, the republic Interior Ministry has reported.
"Police have visited hundreds of homes and questioned all neighbors and local residents," the interior ministry said in a statement.
Relatives and over 200 district policemen, as well personnel of the Russian Interior Ministry's temporary force in Chechnya and of the republic emergency situations ministry are looking for the missing girl.
"The parents told police that Madina had not been seen since she walked out of their private house to play in the courtyard," the ministry said.
Police are combing the outskirts of Achkhoi-Martan, and examining wells, pits and ponds, it said.
