Russia asks Indonesia to help probe SSJ100 crash

MOSCOW. May 11 (Interfax) - Russian Investigative Committee head Alexander Bastrykin has asked the Indonesian Justice Ministry to help investigate the crash of a Russian Sukhoi SuperJet 100 plane, Investigative Committee spokesman Vladimir Markin has announced.

"The Investigative Committee head, in compliance with the Russian Criminal Code, has sent a letter to the Indonesian Justice Ministry requesting legal assistance in conducting a criminal investigation into the crash of the Russian SSJ100 plane," he told Interfax on Friday.
