Russia ends search operation at SSJ100 crash site in Indonesia - ministry

MOSCOW. May 22 (Interfax) - The Russian Emergency Situations Ministry has wrapped up its search operation at the site of the crash of a Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ100) passenger airplane in Indonesia.

"It took the ministry 24 hours to complete the search efforts at the air crash site. The group of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry has already started to leave the area," a ministry spokesman told Interfax on Tuesday.

Rescuers managed to find only one flight data recorder from the passenger jet, he said.
