Two Russian servicemen badly hurt in An-30 crash in Czech Republic - Investigations Committee

MOSCOW. May 24 (Interfax) - The An-30 plane, which crashed in the Czech Republic, was carrying 23 servicemen, including 14 Russian servicemen, of which two sustained severe burns, the Investigations Committee has reported.

"At the time of the accident, the plane, which was flying over the territory of the Czech republic as part of the Clear Skies observer mission, was carrying 14 Russian servicemen and nine servicemen from the NATO countries," the Investigations Committee said in a report obtained by Interfax on Wednesday.

No one was killed in the accident, the report says.

"Two Russian servicemen sustained severe bodily damage in the form of burns and were taken to hospital," the press release says. The other people hurt in the accident sustained numerous bruises and cuts, the report says.
