KOROLYOV, Moscow region. June 1 (Interfax-AVN) - Russia's Zenit-2SL launch vehicle (LV) carrying the Intelsat 19 telecommunication satellite has lifted off from the Odyssey floating launch pad in the Pacific Ocean, an Interfax correspondent has reported.
The launch was broadcast live on a screen at the Mission Control Hall of the Energia Space Rocket Corporation.
It was coordinated by a team of specialists working onboard the ship Sea Launch Commander not far from the launch pad.
