Iran talks in Moscow allow to keep negotiating dynamic - ministry

MOSCOW. June 7 (Interfax) - The Iranian problem will not be resolved in one round of six-party talks in Moscow, said Russian Foreign Ministry's spokesman Alexander Lukashevich.

"Of course, Moscow cannot resolve everything in just one round. It is a step-by-step process, but it is good that the negotiating dynamic remains. We consider it to be the main achievement of this format. It was possible to restore it after a long break, which as you understand does not help solve the pile of problems," he said at a briefing on Thursday.

Russia is pinning hopes on the Moscow round of talks on Iran.

"We hope this round will allow to advance in resolving the (Iranian nuclear) problem," he said.

The talks on Iran involve the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council plus Germany.
