MOSCOW. June 8 (Interfax-AVN) - The Strategic Missile Troops (RVSN) rocket divisions in Teykovo and Tatishchevo are completing the process of re-arming forces with new Yars and Topol-M missile systems, said Maj. Gen. Sergei Siver, the Commander of the RVSN Vladimir Rocket Division.
"The rocket regiment's third division armed with the newest Yars missile system is entering service, which allows us to say that the Teykovo division will complete re-armament before August," Siver said live on the Rossiya-24 television channel on Thursday.
As for the base in Tatishchevo, the process of re-arming the sixth rocket regiment with the Topol-M missile system is nearing completion, he said.
"The process of re-armament and military build-up is going to plan, with the newest combat missile systems entering service," Siver said.
At the moment, there is no place on the Earth that could not be reached by Russian intercontinental ballistic missiles, said the commander when asked about the RVSN's capabilities.
