BAKU. June 8 (Interfax) - NATO is pleased with the level of relations it has with Azerbaijan, a contributor to the peacekeeping operation in Afghanistan, the alliance's Liaison Officer on the South Caucasus Region William Lahue told journalists on Friday.

Azerbaijan and NATO are interested in further promoting and expanding their relations, he said.

A vivid example of it is the peacekeeping operation in Afghanistan, he added.
