ROSTOV-ON-DON. June 9 (Interfax) - A lightweight plane crashed in the Belaya Kalitva district, the Rostov region, on Saturday morning, the Emergency Situations Ministry's Southern Regional Center told Interfax on Saturday.
"A report we received at 8:40 a.m. Moscow time says that a lightweight plane crashed near the community of Grachi. The pilot has been killed," it said.
An Emergency Situations Ministry crew, rescuers, and an ambulance team are working at the scene. The causes of the crash have yet to be determined.
