MOSCOW. June 13 (Interfax-AVN) - The Eastern Military District's Aerospace Defense Forces have received another regimental kit of the S-400 "Triumf" surface-to-air missile (SAM) system.
"The handover of another regimental kit of the Triumf SAM system by Almaz-Antei's head design bureau took place at the Kapustin Yar test missile range on June 8," the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement obtained by Interfax-AVN on Saturday.
During the handover a final test was carried out on the SAM system's elements, with servicemen accepting the new missile system and performing firing sessions in the presence of the industry representatives, the defense ministry said.
