ASTANA. June 13 (Interfax) - Major-General Nurzhan Myrzaliyev, deputy chairman of the Kazakh National Security Committee and head of the Kazakh National Security Committee's Border Guard Service, has filed his resignation, Kazakh Main Military Prosecutor Yergali Merzadinov said.
Myrzaliyev has filed his resignation over the events at the Arkankegen border post, Merzadinov told a briefing in Astana on Wednesday.
