BAIKONUR, Kazakhstan. July 13 (Interfax-AVN) - A Russian weather monitoring satellite, Meteor-M, will be launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome at the end of 2012, a spokesman for the VNIIE electrical engineering research institute told Interfax-AVN.
Meteor-M No. 2 will be launched at the end of 2012. Meteor-M No. 1 has been in operation since it was launched in 2009, he said.
