MOSCOW. July 13 (Interfax) - The Russian Foreign Ministry has reaffirmed Moscow's position about the unacceptability of adopting UN sanctions against Syria.
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov met with Italian Ambassador to Moscow Antonio Zanardi Landi on July 13, the ministry said.
"The Russian side stressed the unacceptability of attempts of foreign intervention in Syria, as well as the unacceptability of adopting a UN Security Council resolution containing sanctions," it said.
