Putin did not discuss Assad's future with Obama, Erdogan - aide (Part 2)

MOSCOW. July 19 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin did not discuss where Syrian President Bashar al-Assad could go either with U.S. President Barack Obama or with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Putin's aide Yury Ushakov told journalists on Thursday after they asked him about this.

Putin met with Erdogan in Moscow and had a telephone conversation with Obama on Wednesday.

Asked whether Assad could come to Moscow, Ushakov replied, "I don't know. At least I haven't heard about this."
