Russian Helicopters increasing deliveries to Russian Air Force

MOSCOW. Aug 13 (Interfax-AVN) - Russian Helicopters has been increasing helicopter deliveries to the Russian Air Force over the past few years, the compnay's press service has reported.

"The Defense Ministry is one of the company's basic and most important customers. Over 1,000 advanced helicopters will enter service with the Russian Air Force in the coming decade, including Kamov Ka-52 Alligator and Mil Mi-28N Night Hunter attack helicopters, advanced and upgraded Mil Mi-8 and Mi-35 military-transport helicopters, Mi-26 heavy transport helicopters and Ansat-U trainers," it said in a statement received by Interfax.

"A stable order allows the company to increase investment in research and to develop new generation helicopters," it said.

"Trailblazer helicopters will be assigned to the Russian armed forcers in the near future," it said.
