Replacement of U.S. secretary of state won't affect U.S. strategy toward Russia - ambassador

MOSCOW. Nov 7 (Interfax) - Hillary Clinton's departure as U.S. secretary of state will not alter Washington's strategy of relations with Russia, U.S. Ambassador to Russia Michael McFaul said.

Asked by a subscriber on Twitter how Clinton's departure could affect U.S.-Russian relations, McFaul replied that the Barack Obama administration formulated its strategy in relation to Russia four years before and will continue to follow it.
