Inquiry to be launched into emergency landing for ministerial plane in Novosibirsk

NOVOSIBIRSK. Nov 30 (Interfax) - The Novosibirsk Transport Prosecutor's Office will launch an inquiry into the emergency landing of a Yak-42 plane carrying Emergency Situations Minister Vladimir Puchkov, a spokesman for the Western Siberian Transport Prosecutor's Office told Interfax.

"The plane landed with a dead right-side engine at 3:02 p.m., local time. The plane was carrying 27 passengers and eleven crewmembers," he said.
