Emergency situations minister's plane engine was shut down after signal indicated problem

MOSCOW. Nov 30 (Interfax-AVN) - The pilots of the Yak-42 plane carrying Emergency Situations Minister Vladimir Puchkov to Novosibirsk shut down one of the plane's three engines as a precaution after a signal indicated a technical problem, Russian Emergency Situations Ministry official Irina Rossius told Interfax.

An investigation is being conducted into the incident, she said.
