Georgian PM criticizes opposition for bias in describing arrests of Interior Ministry officials

TBILISI. Dec 10 (Interfax) - Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili dismissed allegations that the detentions of several high-ranking Interior Ministry officials in the past weeks were politically motivated.

"Members of the former ruling party are calling all the latest detentions and all interrogations political persecutions. They don't even know why this or that person was arrested but immediately put a political label on this," Ivanishvili told journalists on Saturday.

"The process is going on appropriately," he said.
