Yanukovych nominates Azarov for Ukrainian prime minister

KYIV. Dec 10 (Interfax) - Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has nominated Mykola Azarov for prime minister at the Verkhovna Rada, the presidential press service reports.

Azarov tendered his resignation on December 3 due to his election to the parliament. Yanukovych accepted the resignation of the prime minister and his government.

Yanukovych said on December 5 that Azarov had a big chance to retain the premier's position but everything would depend on his team.
