Yanukovych to visit Russia before year-end - source

KYIV. Dec 10 (Interfax) - Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych will visit Russia before the year-end, a diplomat told Interfax on Monday.

"A Moscow visit of the Ukrainian president has been planned. The status of the visit is being determined," the source said. He said that the date of the visit was yet unknown.

"The Ukrainian president said earlier that he would make a state visit to Russia in late 2012," the source said.

Kommersant-Ukraine quoted its sources on Monday to say that Yanukovych would be in Moscow on December 17-18. Possible engagement of Ukraine in integration processes of the Customs Union will be a top item on the visit's agenda.
