Armenia not against hosting Russian radars - defense minister

YEREVAN. Jan 18 (Interfax) - The Armenian authorities could agree to the deployment of Russian radars in the country, Armenia's Defense Minister Seiran Oganyan said at a press conference on Friday.

"If you want to know whether we agree or not, we could say yes," he said.

But it is up to Russia to adopt a final decision on this issue, Oganyan said.

"It is the country's internal matter. We have been following negotiations, and we know that the treaty on the Gabala radar in Azerbaijan has not been prolonged," he said.
