BRUSSELS. Jan 24 (Interfax) - Russia has drawn up an information request for the NATO Parliamentary Assembly International Secretariat concerning an incident involving a Russian passenger airliner over Kabul, a source with Russia's permanent mission to NATO told Interfax on Thursday.
"Bearing in mind how serious the incident was, an information request for the alliance's International Secretariat has been drawn up," the source said.
Russia will demand a thorough investigation into the incident, the source said. "If this information is confirmed, we will demand that measures be taken to guarantee that such incidents do not happen again in the future," he said.
