Azeri-Russian commission to discuss closure of Gabala radar station in February

BAKU. Jan 31 (Interfax) - An Azeri-Russian commission will hold its first joint meeting dealing with the termination of the Gabala radar station lease by Russia in February, Azeri Foreign Ministry spokesman Elman Abdullayev said at a news conference on Wednesday.

The Azeri delegation at the talks will be led by Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov.

"Technical issues related to the station's closure will be discussed at the meeting," Abdullayev said.
