MOSCOW. Jan 31 (Interfax) - Russia is open to constructive cooperation in the Mali issue, in particular, at the UN Security Council, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexander Lukashevich told a Thursday press briefing in Moscow.
"Russia is open to constructive cooperation in the Mali issue, in particular, at the UN Security Council. We are rendering bilateral assistance to Mali in the strengthening of the national armed forces and providing humanitarian aid, and we intend to continue doing that," he said.
