Light Angara to blast off Vostochny in 2015 - Rogozin

MOSCOW. Feb 1 (Interfax-AVN) - A light Angara rocket will blast off the Vostochny Space Center in the Amur region in 2015, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin told reporters after the expanded government meeting on Thursday.

"The Vostochny Space Center is under construction; we plan to launch a light Angara by 2015," he said. "Angara flight tests started yesterday."

The Angara first stage is also the first stage of the South Korean rocket KSLV-1 launched on January 30. It is a product of the Khrunichev Space Center.

It was reported earlier that a Soyuz-2 rocket would be launched from Vostochny in 2015.
