MOSCOW. Feb 7 (Interfax-AVN) - Sea Launch program participants and partners are doing their best to investigate the unsuccessful launch of the Intelsat-27 satellite on February 1 and to develop measures towards high reliability of the complex, says a joint press release of Sea Launch AG (Switzerland), the Energia Corporation and NPO Energomash (Russia), the Yuzhoye Design Bureau and Yuzhmashzavod (Ukraine).
The report says the Russian and Ukrainian governments are monitoring the inquiry and several commissions of various levels are at work.
These include a Russian-Ukrainian commission and commissions established at Roscosmos, Sea Launch AG, the Energia Corporation, NPO Energomash, the Yuzhnoye Design Bureau and other participants in the project, it said.
The commissions target exposure and elimination of the causes of the accident and soonest resumption of launches, the report said.
Sea Launch participants and partners declare their adherence to the project and soonest resumption of launch services and express the hope that interested clients will carry on works scheduled under the Sea Launch program and its development, the report said.
