MOSCOW. Feb 11 (Interfax) - North Korean nuclear weapons endanger other countries, 53% of 1,500 respondents told the Public Opinion Foundation on February 3.
Thirty percent argue there is no danger, and 16% are hesitant.
International sanctions retaliating against North Korean nuclear tests gained support of 47% and were opposed by 28%. Fifteen percent failed to answer the question.
The UN Security Council unanimously adopted a resolution in January to condemn North Korean nuclear launches and to expand the anti-nuclear test sanctions of 2006 and 2009. In turn, Pyongyang threatened to conduct a third nuclear test and accelerate its missile program.
