Russian inspectors to fly over Italy

MOSCOW. Feb 11 (Interfax-AVN) - An Antonov An-30B aircraft of Russian inspectors will make an observation flight above Italy under the Open Skies Treaty, a source at the Russian Defense Ministry's press service and information department told Interfax-AVN.

"The observation flights will be made on February 11 to 15. The plane will take off from the Ciampino airfield in Italy and travel to the maximal distance of 2,015 kilometers," the source said.

Italian specialists will board the plane, too.

This is the second observation flight of the year made by Russian inspectors in the airspace of treaty member countries, the source said.
