MOSCOW. Feb 12 (Interfax) - Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Igor Morgulov and Japan's chief negotiator in the talks on North Korea's nuclear problem Sinsuke Sugiyama have discussed North Korea's latest nuclear test.
"The Russian and Japanese senior diplomats discussed the situation in the Korean peninsula in connection with North Korea's latest nuclear test," by telephone on February 12, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.
Also on Tuesday Morgulov discussed the situation in the Korean peninsula following North Korea's nuclear test with U.S. Special Representative for North Korea Policy Glyn Davies, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
"On February 12, Deputy Foreign Minister Igor Morgulov and U.S. Special Representative for North Korea Policy Glyn Davies discussed the situation in the Korean Peninsula in connection with North Korea's new nuclear test," the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
In addition to this, Morgulov discussed the same issue with South Korean Ambassador to Russia Wi Sung Lak, it said.
