MOSCOW. Feb 13 (Interfax-AVN) - Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and his Norwegian counterpart Anne-Grete Strom-Erichsen will meet in Moscow on Wednesday to discuss issues relating to the deployment of missile defense systems in Europe, cooperation in the fight against piracy, the situation in Africa and security issues in Afghanistan.
"I suggest discussing issues that present mutual interest during today's meeting. Specifically, the state and prospects of bilateral military partnership, interaction in the NATO-Russia Council, including the deployment of missile defense systems in Europe, and cooperation in the fight against piracy," Shoigu said opening the meeting.
The meeting will also likely address "the situation in Africa and security issues in Afghanistan," he said.
