TBILISI. Feb 19 (Interfax) - Georgia should have normal relations with all the countries, including Russia, Georgian Foreign Minister Maia Panjikidze said.
"All countries choose partners for themselves and Georgia is no exception," Panjikidze said at a meeting with parliamentary opposition representatives on Tuesday.
"We have repeatedly declared our foreign priorities and they are well known, however Georgia should aspire to have normal relations with all the countries, including Russia, since very many issues are related to normalizing the relationship with this country," Panjikidze said, commenting on a statement by Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili, who has said he envied Armenia, which had good relations with Russia and the West as well.
