MOSCOW. Feb 20 (Interfax) - Russia expects the Syrian government to prove with deeds its readiness for the dialogue with the opposition.
"It is very important to support the Syrian opposition's preparedness for the dialogue with a confirmation of the government's readiness. The government made the declaration a long time ago but now it is time to confirm the words with concrete steps, concrete deeds. Let us hope for this and work to make it happen," Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told a press conference after the first Russian-Arab cooperation forum.
