MOSCOW. Feb 22 (Interfax-AVN) - The International Space Station (ISS) will not perform a maneuver to avoid a possible collision with Cosmos satellite debris, which is expected to fly past the orbiting outpost at a relatively safe distance.
"The flight path of this fragment has been clarified. A decision has been made not to do such a maneuver," a Russian space rocket industry source told Interfax-AVN.
A routine operation will start at 2:34 p.m. Moscow time on Friday to raise the station's orbit by one kilometer, he said.
