Russian inspectors to make observation flight over Turkey

MOSCOW. Feb 25 (Interfax-AVN) - Russian and Turkish military specialists will fly 1,500 km over Turkey to control the fulfillment of the agreements that have been reached, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

"A group of Russian inspectors plan to make an observation flight in an AN-30B plane over the territory of Turkey in the period between February 25 and March 1," the Russian Defense Ministry press service and information department said in a report obtained by Interfax-AVN.

The report states that the plane will take off from the Turkish airfield Diyarbakir and will cover a distance of 1,500 km.
