TBILISI. Feb 25 (Interfax) - The city court in Tbilisi has released on bail all three suspects in an involuntary manslaughter case, among them former youth affairs and sport minister Vladimir Vardzelashvili.
The ex-minister was freed on 3,000-lari bail ($1,800).
The other suspects released on bail are Zviad Kavtaradze (1,500 lari, or about $950) and Vakhtang Bichashvili (6,000 lari, or around $3,800).
Prosecutors had demanded a bail for Vardzelashvili and Bichashvili, and two-month preliminary detention for Kavtaradze
Vardzelashvili, his relative Bichashvili and Kavtaradze were detained at the ex-minister's place after a fatal accident on Friday.
Youth Affairs and Sport Ministry official Devi Siradze was killed by an accidental shot when Vardzelashvili was demonstrating his arms collection on February 22, the Georgian police reported.
The accidental shot was reportedly fired by Kavtaradze.
