Azeri president, Iranian official discuss security issues

BAKU. Feb 25 (Interfax) - Azeri President Ilham Aliyev met with an Iranian delegation led by National Security Council Secretary Saeed Jalili, the official media reported on Sunday.

The president stressed the importance of cooperation and regular security consultations.

In turn, Jalili lauded his first visit to Azerbaijan and amicable bilateral relations.

He expressed Iranian support to Azeri territorial integrity and said it must be provided in the conflict settlement.

The sides discussed various spheres of bilateral relations, including security.
